Number the Stars

Hi guys! last time my Teacher told me to read a book "number the stars" written by Lois Lowry. this book told us about a girl name anemarie johansen. She live in 1943 in Copenhagen. At that time the NAZI soldier want to "relocate" all the jews of Denmark.One day Annemarie want to help her friend, Ellen. She help Ellen by moving her to a safer place, even it make her own life become more dangerous.

When i read this book at the first time, i didnt think if this book was good, but when i read this book further, i realize that this book was interesting. it teach us how to help our friends in need.

This book has some metaphor such as girrafe which mean a person who has long neck. Ellen's neklack also called star of davis. There also god of the thunder which mean a very small rain shower.

This book was quite good. I'd like to ask you to read this book.
